This term students in the Tui Team have collaborated in small groups to select a charity, research it, build a website about it and then go about doing some fundraising. What amazing creativity, resilience and collaboration was shown throughout this process, which culminated in a Market Day. The whole school got behind this event, buying Market Day dollars to spend at all the stalls. The Tui Team raised an amazing $3500 for their charities!

Our annual Athletics Day is a whole school event held at Massey Park in Papakura, where students compete in a range of events made possible by taking place at a purpose built facility. This year, despite a less than ideal weather forecast, the day was perfect and all ran smoothly (no pun intended). The success of the day is always made possible by wonderful helpers from our community, a committed staff and also many ex students. More photos can be found on our school Facebook page....

Our "Fathers" Breakfast for significant males in our students' lives, has become a regular feature of the Reremoana School Calendar. It is an opportunity for 'Dads' and their kids to come to school together, have a cooked breakfast, and listen to an inspirational thinker. This year we heard from author and motivational speaker Myan Subrayan. The breakfast was cooked and served by AIMS Games team members and their families. A big thank you again to our sponsors, Barfoot and Thompson M...

Towards the end of Term Two we celebrated books and reading in a number of ways. The library was turned into an enchanted garden surrounded by books for sale, provided by Scholastic. We raised an amazing $1806.42. The money raised through the sale of the books will be used to improve the library and ensure this is a place that fosters wonder. Our Book Fair included an evening where we could wear our PJs and listen to stories in the library.
